What’s been happening?
Hi all! It has been a crazy few weeks since the last update. So let me break it down for you, starts dancing, no not that kind of breaking it down!
So Gothica has yet to make a public appearance, and I wanted to change that. I’ll be bringing Gothica to Norwich and Birmingham at the end of May, and oh boy is there a bunch of stuff that needs to happen before then!
Preparing for the exhibitions has been one thing, but of course I would love for people to follow Gothica on Kickstarter, if I only I had a Kickstarter page… So the last few weeks have been all about prepping Gothica’s online and offline debut! But let me rewind…
Games Cons
If you happen to be visiting the Norwich Games Festival or the UKGE (Birmingham) then please come and find the Gothica stand. I have worked my butt off to make it as interactive as possible. With prizes that are both Gothica themed and also useful for general TTRPG play! (Aka, come get some FREE dice!). I also intend to make both venues participate in my site wide plague event! Come along, roll for a role (lol roll for a role), and find others in the venue that are wearing a ‘Super Patented Gothica Plague Event Sticker’ finish your quest, and come find us again to get your prize!
Kickstarter Pre-Launch
The Kickstarter project has been fully referred, WOO! That means once I’m ready to show you guys, you’ll get the chance to follow Gothica on Kickstarter. (This is super exciting!) If you are interested in backing Gothica later this year then please consider following Gothica from the Kickstarter pre-launch.
Other than a bunch of boring admin and formatting things, it’s been a lot of chasing emails and boring business stuff. After the public events I’ll be gifted with months of uninterrupted time to crack on and finish the book!
Oh yeah, what do you think of the new title for Gothica: Plagueworlds?
