The role of the Barbarian may not fit within the upper echelons of human society. However, they still play a major part in the defence against the plagues. People who are ready to confront any threat, no matter the danger are valuable to those not protected by city walls and martial hires.

The plagues in Gothica can attack characters via physical or sensory means. The Barbarian that boasts a high Constitution will excel in the defence against any physical transmissions.

Pre-Release Archetype - The Path of the Furied

Looking into the eyes of a raging warrior can be terrifying, but to peer into the eyes a Path of the Furied Barbarian is true horror. Empowered by the Fury plague, the rage of a furied Barbarian is heightened to new levels, allowing the ability to taunt their enemies and draw focus of incoming attacks.
